The pace of the… read more Dahabeya is wonderful. It is slower and more peaceful than most cruises. Feeling the breeze as we sailed helped us relax and enjoy the sights along the river.

The boat has all the old world character that you want, like a copper sink, beautiful lamps, and all around finishes. But it still provides modern amenities like a TV in your room and a full bathroom with all the amenities you want. They even had toiletries available including a dental kit, soaps, shampoo, and shaving kit. We didn’t need them, but it was great that they had them available in case we did.

The variety of food is vast. They provide local dishes and some from around the world. They regularly ask for feedback and provide options for meals. The food was delicious and seemed endless.

The service provided by Yasser and his crew was great. With greetings when you come on board and every morning. The room was always taken care of with fresh linens, water, and even an elephant! There was always a refreshing welcome drink when we returned from a day of tours and sightseeing. They were very accommodating given our personal circumstances.

We had a lovely evening docked next to an island with dinner on the island and music and dancing. It was a great opportunity to see the crew showing their talents. One chef was singing and the other playing the drums. Other crew members were dancing and singing as well as playing instruments.

The guide, Yousef, provided us with many amazing stories and showed us all the sites we had dreamed of. He provided suggestions and gave us options to alter the schedule based on our needs. The guide was as accommodating as the crew on the ship.

We really felt that the crew was like family and welcomed us into their family. I can’t imagine seeing the Nile in any other way.
We hope that we are able to come back again in the future and bring family and friends so that they can experience what we have been so lucky to experience.

  The best of Aswan, Luxor and Nile River Cruise…  – Our tour guide Ashraf was very professional, polite and had vast knowledge especially of Ancient/modern Egypt. He was friendly, always willing to answer any questions, and we shared several… read more jokes. He was also more than willing to accommodate us..e.g change leaving times, allow more than enough time when visiting temples, lunches and drinks All in all the trip was excellent!

  So many amazing historical temples. You definitely need a guide to tell you the story  – Ashraf is a professional and nice guy. It was happy to have him as my tour guide. He is well planned, no tricky no pushing🙅‍♀️I had wonderful memories here
